Child-Centered Approach

to ABA

ABA helps children learn important life skills by understanding motivation, communication, and how learning happens best.

Our goals may include:

  • Communication skills

  • Play and social interaction

  • Emotional regulation

  • Independence

  • Safety awareness

  • Daily routines

  • Flexibility with change

  • School readiness

We do not believe in robotic or rigid therapy. Sessions are individualized, engaging, and built around your child.

Positive Reinforcement

Encouraging repeat behavior through rewards such as praise, toys, or preferred activities to build lasting skills.

Pivotal Response Treatment

This child-led approach focuses on critical areas like motivation and social cues to naturally boost communication and social confidence.

Strategies That
Inspire Us

Tailored to your child's learning style, focusing on positive reinforcement and skill acquisition.

Naturalistic Teaching

Integrating learning goals into everyday play and routines to help children generalize skills to real-world environments.

Acceptance & Commitment Training

We help children navigate big feelings by building mindfulness and emotional flexibility, allowing them to stay true to their values during challenges.

DIR/ Floortime

Relationship-driven developmental learning through play. We follow your child’s lead, join their interests, and gently invite new skills, helping them feel safe, connected, and curious while they grow.

JASPER

Joint Attention, Symbolic Play, Engagement, and Regulation. We help children share attention, stay engaged with others, and build early play and social skills in a fun, natural way.

Assent Is Not Optional Here

We strongly believe therapy should happen with a child—not to a child.

We pay close attention to verbal and nonverbal communication that tells us whether a child is ready to participate, needs support, or needs a break.

We respect signals such as:

  • Saying no
  • Turning away
  • Avoiding materials
  • Signs of stress
  • Requesting space
  • Choosing another activity

When children feel respected, trust grows. When trust grows, learning happens.

Home Sessions

Therapy in the home focuses on natural daily life. This may include play, routines, meals, and toileting support, as well as communication practice, sibling interaction, and essential daily living skills designed to fit the family's lifestyle.

How Therapy Can Look

We provide personalized ABA therapy and support across the different environments where your child lives, learns, and plays.

School Support

In nursery schools, daycares, or private schools, we support children where they naturally learn and socialize. We help with transitions, group participation, communication, peer play, independence, and overall classroom success.

Community Sessions

We work on real-world skills in parks, stores, extracurricular settings, and other community spaces when appropriate. This helps children generalize their learning and feel confident and capable in public environments.
