Individual Session

Instruction will be tailored depending on your goals, pace, level and individual needs.

  • Hatha Yoga is a gentle form of yoga that focuses on asanas (poses) paired with breathing techniques (pranayama), and meditation (dyana). It is ideal for beginners. Vinyasa style may be included for intermediate learners.  

  • Restorative Yoga is a therapeutic form of passive static stretching where props (e.g., chairs, blocks, straps, etc.) are used to support the body.

  • Yin Yoga is slow-paced and targets the deep tissues in our body. It is based on Taoist philosophy the "chi" or "qi" flows through our body, and by holding the poses for 2 minutes or more, we remove blockages allowing energy to flow.

With your organization's collaboration, we will create, launch, and evaluate well-being programs that will transform team cultures. Yoga and mindfulness workshops will be designed for the work environment and topics will be evidence-based centered well-being theory and koshas of well-being framework (Carmack 2015; and Carmack and Kennedy, 2017; 2019; 2020).

There is conclusive evidence that even one session of yoga per week brings about changes in employee behavior by helping them manage stress better, enhance clarity and creative thinking, improve communication skills, cultivate leadership and teamwork, and increase overall effectiveness in the workplace.
