Well-being Coaching
The objective of well-being coaching is to guide people replace or reshape behaviors, and learn tools to deal with multiple life challenges. Acceptance Commitment Therapy can help you process emotional and mental barriers that may arise while you are going through behavior changes. It can be useful in transforming your mindset, healing your relationship with food, improving your body image, dealing with pervasive negative thoughts, preventing burnout, developing self-compassion, committing to action and many more.
Well-being is the presence of positive emotions and moods (e.g., contentment, happiness), the absence of negative emotions (e.g., depression, anxiety), satisfaction with life, fulfillment and positive functioning (CDC, 2018). During our coaching sessions, we will work on the different areas of well-being. Then, come up with practical goals that are important and motivating for you. I will provide you with the knowledge and tools you need so you can make enlightened choices. I am your guide and I will respect your choices without judgment.

Behavior Assessment
Everything starts with a Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA).
FBAs help us understand behaviors using deep dive interviews, direct observation, questionnaires, etc. This process is intended to identify events surrounding behaviors or challenges, such as what happens before/after, where they occur, with whom and why. Based on the results, we will then set SMART goals and create an action plan to address them.
Individuals who are able to self-regulate but are not sure how to get started may benefit from assistance in Goal Setting and Action Planning (2-3 weeks).
