What is Applied Behavior Analysis?
ABA is the science of how people learn and behave. Using the principles of ABA, we understand how behavior is affected by the environment, so we can shape them. Behavior analysts implement research-based strategies that can reduce challenging behaviors and replace them with positive and functional skills.

Any type of change is not easy. There are often private events (emotions, thoughts) that drive our behavior which may hinder us from meeting our goals. This is where Acceptance and Commitment Therapy comes in. ACT is an evidenced-based approach that combines mindfulness and behavior intervention strategies to promote flexibility to change.

Special Needs
ABA is used in different field areas like Health and Wellness, but it is most commonly a treatment for people diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disorders. It is the leading, most effective treatment for ASD.

We offer ABA Therapy for children and adolescents, 2-18 years old, via telehealth (any location) and/or in-person (Los Angeles, CA). We focus on decreasing maladaptive behaviors while teaching functional skills and mindfulness for socio-emotional development.
